Local Delivery Information 


 

Delivery to any (LA) postcode is likely be completed using our own vehicles, depending on the goods being provided. Please ensure that there is sufficient access to park and unload these vehicles. If you are concerned, please don't hesitate to contact us on 01539 822666. Generally speaking, our drivers will always attempt to leave goods in an ideal space for any customer, as long as it is safe to do so. Please note this comes down to our drivers' discretion

 We aim to deliver within 5 working days after any order is placed. If we are unable to do so, we will contact you to organize a suitable date.

 

 Please Note Minimum Order Value Applies & 'Free Delivery' is only applicable on orders over £120.00 limited to (LA) Postcodes

  

National Delivery Information


 

National Delivery (any delivery outside of LA postcodes) will be completed via a third party haulage company. This will be probably be using 18 tonne wagons with a tail-lift & hand pallet truck to navigate the goods. You must have a dropped kerb and a flat, solid, accessible section of groundwork for the materials to be placed on. Please be mindful that any orders that result in a failed delivery will have a re-delivery surcharge equall to the original delivery cost per pallet. For this reason, if you are unsure regarding access, contact us on 01539 822666. 

 

The pallet truck cannot be navigated on any sloped terrain, gravel or grassed areas. For this reason, please make sure to leave a suitable contact number so that, in the unfortunate event, nobody is available at the property; you can be contacted to discuss the best place to leave the goods. With permission from the homeowner, goods can be delivered directly onto your premises, however, please note that this is at the drivers' discretion & we at RR Stone Ltd  are not responsible for any damage caused to either the goods orders or property. 

 

Deliveries will generally be made between 8am - 6:30pm on the specified date. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to provide delivery on the date specified, we will contact you to rearrange delivery. Upon delivery if any goods are damaged please contact us immediately with imagery at sales@rrstone.co.uk. While it is rare we have issues when attempting delivery, we would like to keep it that way and mitigate any possible risks. 

 We are not responsible for the disposal of any pallets or packaging used to make delivery. 

 

 

FAQ


My project is over a period of time and will require several orders.

It is advisable to buy flooring and tiles in one batch, as the batch colour and surface finish can vary between batches. You should also ensure your tiler blends the colours so that the variation of shades are evenly spread.

What happens if my goods are damaged in transit?

It is important that you inspect your goods before the driver leaves. If the order was delivered by a courier please call us immediately to inform us. Make sure you sign for the goods as damaged. We may require a photograph of the damaged goods in order to pursue a claim. In some cases we may collect the damaged goods.
