Lonsdale Black cleft chipped edge slate is the perfect option if you are looking for a traditional farmhouse style floor.

Lonsdale Black chipped edge slate is the perfect option if you are looking for a traditional farmhouse style floor. Available in two sizes, 9-12mm and 15-18mm,  the 9-12mm tile is perfect if height is restricted when laying your new floor. This stone can be laid with either a small chipped edge, as per the photo, or with a wide joint ( as shown with the thick tiles)
