Private Cottage, Cumbria

Project Overview:

We were engaged by Marshall Mason Kitchen Specialists of Ulverston, Cumbria, to supply some interior products from our showroom, to complement a kitchen refurbishment they were commissioned to do by the owners of a private cottage in Cumbria. This project renovation showcases one of Marshall Masons bespoke hand-built kitchens, which features solid oak internals. The kitchen was hand painted in teal and blue hues - the contrast against this colour palate and the copper features looks truly stunning. The copper theme was continued throughout, from the flooring to the bespoke finish on the Natural Stone Alabaster Lighting. RR Stone supplied the Ted Todd Hoxton Herringbone and Gaslamp Copper Leaf flooring from our Ted Todd Design Centre, as well as United Alabaster Copper Glans Pendant lights.

United Alabaster Lighting: The Copper collection you see featured in this kitchen was born from natural alabaster marble combined with old molds. Old molds were originally used to repulse copper pieces and used to manufacture buoys. The Cooper range of Alabaster lighting offers a wide range of luminaires, of varying types and sizes, adaptable in any contemporary living space. Copper is a noble metal, sustainable, durable over time, and easily recyclable. The Copper collection can be suspended from the ceiling individually or in this set of 3 luminaires, adapting to the lighting that you prefer in each space. The Copper collection of alabaster lamps offers different configuration possibilities and is available in different finishes of ceiling base, colour of electrical cable, and finish of structure.
