LRV (Light Reflectance Value) – 45
In its more recent history, Mount Stewart in Northern Ireland was owned by the 7th Marquess of Londonderry and his wife Edith, an influential early 20th-century society hostess. With many high-profile friends and important guests, they undertook a comprehensive refurbishment. Mount Stewart was the family’s summer residence, and Edith – who adored the house and its gardens – insisted on redecorating the entire property in a light and colourful way. She used this yellow-green on the Drawing Room columns as a highlight against the backdrop of dark pink walls.
