Look beyond the laboriously applied Burnished Hardwax Oil coating to see distinctive dark natural and man-made salients. They reflect the oak’s long and varied history, with each block, plank, and panel telling its own unique story.
Because long-term durability and stability are paramount to the success of an antique floor, we’ve added an extra-thick 6mm wear layer onto our 2-ply engineered 20mm boards here, meaning Babington will last lifetimes, telling yet more stories, if cared for correctly.
